Question

Just a thought for serifiot and others

First of all let me say that I appreciate whenever someone helps here by submitting a track listing / images / infos etc. However, maybe it's just me, but I personally find a track listing such as this one (the Digitmovies CD) to be not easy to read:

http://www.soundtrackcollector.com/catalog/soundtrackdetail.php?movieid=49708

Because of so many comments under each track I have to focus precisely on what is what, what is album, what is bonus etc. In general, isn't it easier to read (and also to write) a listing in a way like this one (again the Digitmovies CD):

http://www.soundtrackcollector.com/catalog/soundtrackdetail.php?movieid=7075

I don't want to say that my track lists are better than those of others but I think it's an interesting thought for discussion.

Thanks for listening.

What the hell was this guy thinking ??

I was wondering the same, kleinludwig. Maybe the person just wanted to reserve the authority (i.e. the ability to control the tracklist) about the tracklist that will come up in the future.

But might as well be an odd mistake. The person never did anything on this site before.

You'll find many such fake one-track listings all over the database. Obviously by people with no intention of controlling anything, they are just proud about the way they "sabotage" us.

You are right, Dorian.
That guy from the track list from World Trade Center does that again and again.
I have removed him several times now from the member list but he's coming back.

This thing with track lists that are not correct or just a "sabotage" is just what I meant before, when people asked me the possibility to contribute and add info, like labels and label numbers, covers etc. to the database by themselves. I think that when I give that possibility, in a very short time this database will turn into a mess.

There are many goodwilling members who are reliable and do the best they can, and I thank them for that, but there also are "members" like those saboteurs. And it is very difficult for me to decide who can I allow to do what. I am afraid I will lose control and I don't think we want that.

Please let me know when you see a wrong track list. I will remove it immediately.
