Where the trailer music comes from
I confess to being a little surprised at the number of questions on this site concerning the music and songs in trailers, but clearly there are many people who are interested in the subject.
The link below is to an article in the Hollywood Reporter last year about a "cottage industry" in Hollywood that specializes solely in licensing or commissioning original music for trailers. Interestingly, one of the principals quoted in the piece said he was surprised by the large number of queries and emails his company receives from fans of trailer music.

An interessting article. I own some 90 trailer music tracks and to tell the truth, some really kick ass! Fully orchestral acompanied by choir, they sound explosive, bombastic, dramatic, gothic, most of all the action cues. They are similar to the music of Conan the Barbarian, The Lord of the Rings or Gabriel Yared's Troy, some even better.
The trailer to spiderman 2, mentioned in the article, features one of the cues, in my opinion the best of the 90 tracks. The cue starts in the trailer when doc oc appears the first time. The fist part is without the choir and then comes the more interessting part with the choir. Just listen. The track is called "Lacrimosa". In the "Chronicles of Narnia" trailer, there is a also a cue with choir from the 90 trailer tracks.

something I forgot. The trailers to the first and second LOTR films contain two great ochrestral trailer cues:
1. "Gothic Power" by Christopher Field, heard in the trailer when "Evil will hunt them" appears on the screen, and it explodes when Gandalf says: "they're comming". The same cue is heard in the trailer for Terminator 3.
2. "Requiem for the Ring" - an excellent trailer cue used in the trailer for the two towers. It is a remake of ";Requiem for a Dream". A really impresive track.

I was able to go onto the links you guys provided, but I am still unclear about how to
purchase trailer music. I'm especially interested in the trailer music for Jurassic Park, The
Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and many others.
