Serpent and the rainbow-Tracklist

I am a little confused, cause the tracklist of the backcover mumbers 19 tracks but in reality there are only 18 .Track number 8: Dennis dug out is missing. Just a print mistake or what? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
Peter

Hello Peter,

If you take the tracklisting on this site as a guide,
then I'm to blame since I'm the one who submitted it.
There are 18 tracks on the disc instead of 19.
When I listened to the cd I was shure that track 8 was
"Procession" instead of track 9 as stated on the cover
(although it had been years since I had seen the movie,
that scene with the accompanying music was still in my head).
The rest of the titles seemed okay, exept #8 Dennis Dug Out,
though I was, and still am not shure.
This was all done before I was aware of iTunes,
so just to check I loaded the cd in my computer
and started iTunes... the same tracklisting came up...
No Dennis dug out track, and again "Procession" as track number 8.
Maybe the person who submitted that list took the list on
this site as a guide... or did I submit that iTunes list too?
(I honestly don't remember).

I know this does not really answer your question,
but now you know where this list came from.
Your question made me want to go directly to the roots
of this "misunderstanding", Varèse Sarabande.
This morning I sent them this question about "Serpent and the Rainbow",
as soon as I receive an answer I'll post it here,
and update the tracklisting accordingly, if neccesary.

Thanks Wim and coma for yout detailed explanations about the
tracklist. I think only Varese can give the answers. Anyway, what would we do without that forum and its members.

Thanks again

A Week has passed since I wrote to Varese about this.
Until now I have not heard from them, but who knows
what the future has in store for us...
When I receive an answer you'll hear it a.s.a.p.
