The Witches of Eastwick/Three Amigos Reissues...

I want to buy The Witches of Eastwick CD, but am waiting to find out if the second print that was released on the 27th of June still has the defect on it. So, has anyone gotten the second print and can confirm if it's still an issue or not? BTW, is there's a way to know which version it is before purchasing a copy?

Relating to that, how's the reissue of Three Amigos?

Thanks all!

The artwork on both are pretty crappy, the back inserts look like they were printed with the cheapest printer ever. The Three Amigos back cover is really blurry. But the sound quality is pretty good, which i think is more important than a cd cover design.

Hi sabbey! The CCM non-defective "Witches Of Eastwick" soundtrack is supposedly available from amazon U.S.

The way to distinguish it from the defective copy is to read the numbers around the center of the cd.

The defective soundtrack has this:

"Z53065"
"MOS1"
"45 CCM2 685-2 01"

The non-defective soundtrack has this:

"Z53065"
"MOS1"
"45 CCM2 685-2 RE-1 01"

...notice RE-1!

Thanks, I might just buy them together and hope the defect isn't there... ;)

As for their crappy design, well it's an official CD. Unless you have a new copy of the older CDs for sale, for cheap, they are my only choice since I don't buy bootlegs. That said, I am after the music, the packaging (Other than the Jewel Cases and a pressed CD) doesn't matter at all to me.

Got my Three Amigos today - Sounds fine but hate the spinal lettering - makes it look like a cheap bootleg! Still, thanks to CC for issuing it.

Someone posted on the FSM forum that they recently purchased TWOE through amazon U.S. and the cd had the defect so it is a matter of luck I suppose.
I have the defective cd and the slight 'funny noises' on track 3 are not that audible even though they are not supposed to be there.
