Question

What is your feel good score?

Maybe a odd question but which soundtrack makes you feel so good, like if you had a really bad day, what is your first choice to pop into your cd player?Mine personally would be the soundtrack to Across the sea of time by John Barry.I do not know why,but it really relaxes me and afterwards i feel fine.

Musicals in general come to mind, ''The Magnificent Seven", "Booorn Free" as free as the vind blows..., and quite a few zillion!

P.S. Richie Rich by Alan Silvestri is another happy morning score.

"The Ultimate Pink Panther" by Mancini, one of the greatest compilation soundtracks. It's lounge, it's cool, it's fun, it's even melancholic (I love the Clouseau theme!)

These days I often grab for Michel Gaucher's Un Printemps à Paris because its mellow jazz has
some sort of soothing influence on me.
I also like Bruno Coulais' Himalaya - L'enface d'un chef for its meditative atmosphere and to lift
my spirits I use to pick Johnny Pate's Shaft in Africa. It's opening theme (You can't even walk in
the park) gives me a kick any time I listen to it, just as Quincy Jones' main theme for They call
me Mr. Tibbs does.

Poledouris' THE BLUE LAGOON could be a good choice for me...

Any number of recordings can work that magic for me! Can't think of one in particular although I can think of certain occasions when quality sounds increased energy levels.

Providence (Miklos Rozsa) comes to mind! Then again so does Maniac (Jay Chattaway).

There are many, but Beetlejuice, and the Triplets of Belleville, work for me.

If I'm in a bad mood, I tend to play broody scores like Jerry Goldsmith's "The Final Conflict", Peter Gabriel's "The Last Temptation of Christ" or Trevor Jones' "From Hell" - weird I know!

Swept from the Sea - John Barry
The Unsaid - Don Davis

my choice is and has been for the past 10 years:

The music of Babylon 5, any of the CDs, but most of all Volume 1.

One of the best soundtracks for television series ever, when not THE best.

Hello,

Good question, There are so many it's hard to pick just one. I guess I will have to go with "Young Sherlock Holmes" by Bruce Broughton, I really like this score alot and my favorite track would have to be (The Riddle's Solved - End Credits) very uplifting, Just wonderful music.

Best Regards,
David Phoenix, AZ.
