THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY
I was working away this afternoon whilst I listened to The Lord Of The Rings trilogy. It's amazing how in that environment, as you concentrate on what you are going to do next, that you actually hear the music with far more clarity as opposed to just listening to it. Do you know what I mean?
Still, I got thinking if you could choose any composer in the world, dead or alive, who would you have asked to score The trilogy. I would have asked Bernard Herrmann, as I listened to this cracking score by Howard Shore.

I would like to have heard the efforts of James Newton Howard or indeed, the late, great Jerry Goldsmith.

Hello,
I would say (deceased) the great Miklos Rozsa, or how about (Alive) the under rated John Scott.
Best Regards,
