LP or CD?
The LP could be purchased for less but if your soundtrack is the CD, the price is fine!
P.S. The film besides the wonderful score by Alan Price is a class act in itself with moving and superb performances by legendary actors.

Hello serifiot,
i purchased the CD in mint condition (once played). And yes: outstanding performances by Vincent Price, Bette Davis and the legendary "Night of the hunter"-Lilian Gish.
Greetings
Peter

Don't forget Ann Sothern and her Oscar nominated performance.

Dear Peter, I've a vinyl copy already but am trying to track down a cd copy. Do you know of any suppliers?

Hello James,
i recently watched the catalogue of Brad Taylor at www.gemm.com and found Whales of August. The prize is high: 120 $. I think from time to time it will appear at ebay, the best way to get it....
Good luck hunting

WOW!!!What a price!
I just get(with no money) one from a friend(a classical music fan) this week. i think i am so lucky;)
And it sounds so peaceful and charming. just likes Dave Grusin's On Golden Pond and even better than Hans Zimmer's Driving Miss Daisy.
