"Dyin' ev'ryday for GOOOLD....Why is there this lust for GOOOLD?" Woo...that's a fantastic movie song. Congratulations for having the LP in your collection by now. It leaves me clueless as to why this score never even gets rumored to get a CD release. After all one of the very few Elmer Bernstein scores I like and the only one that really left me enthusiastic.
...and here are my most recent additions (all CDs):
THE CORPSE BRIDE (Danny Elfman)
DEUTSCHE FILMKOMPONISTEN, FOLGE 1: MARTIN BÖTTCHER
DEUTSCHE FILMKOMPONISTEN, FOLGE 4: ROLF WILHELM
NOT ONE LESS (San Bao) - DVD with isolated score track
HOSTAGE (Alexandre Desplat)
CARRIE (Pino Donaggio) Rykodisc
THE LEGEND OF ZORRO (James Horner)
LE PATIENT ANGLAIS (Gabriel Yared)
GONE WITH THE WIND (Max Steiner) TCM
Best wishes,
Urs

Don’t laugh but the soundtrack to the 1979 movie BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25th CENTURY.
composed & conducted by Stu Phillips, and featured the lyrical talents of Glen A. Larson !! With the vocal talents of Kip Lennon. On LP I got this on ebay going cheap and thought I would give it a go, I remember the series and I quite liked the end tune. I’m just a big kid really.... Well that’s what my wife says!
