Fans of Japanese Exploitaion take note! Great new CD on Hotwax!

Hey I just got in my copy of the new Hotwax CD "Yasagure Amegatsute Sokatsu Rinchi" which covers the films of Japanese "Pinky Violence" actress Reiko Ike. I thought their last release "Sukeban Gerira" could not be topped but this new CD (which is basically part 2 of "Sukeban Gerira") is absolutely amazing!!!! The highlight of the CD is the 1st ever release of the song "Fuutengurashi" sung by Reiko Ike, the theme song to film "Criminal Woman Killing Melody" which was included in the Pinky Violence DVD box. Not only did we get that song but Hotwax dug up "Fuutengurashi part 2" which has never been heard (it wasn't in the movie) before until this release. Hotwax also included the movie version of "Ocho's Blue's" from the Reiko Ike sword and sex film "Female Yakuza Tale - Inquisition and Torture". Other highlights (for me) include many never before released BGM cuts from many of Ike's films including "Sex and Fury," "Tokugawa Sex Ban - Lustful Lord" (the amazing song by French actress Sandra Julien is here also). As usual the colorful digi-pack, lyric/info sheet/poster are all excellent. The release date was 9/23 and since I preordered it I already recieved it from Amazon Japan. For those of you that don't want to send to Japan I noticed that Dusty Groove in Chicago carries all the Hotwax releases.

In the latest issue of the Hotwax magazine they announced a new release for mid-October that will examine music from Nikkatsu studios "Roman-Porno" period and will include at least one track from the rarely seen film "Sengoku Rock: Female Warriors" (sometimes known as "Naked Seven"). Watch for that, I know I will! I hope I didn't sound too much like an advertising exec, but I just can't control my enthusiam for these new and exciting Japanese releases!!!!!
