I woke up to a lazy and overcast Sunday with ''Clan Of The Cave Bear'' by Alan Silvestri which I like quite a lot but then switched to "Stripes" by Elmer Bernstein, a more lively soundtrack, and finally hit the streets while trying to listen to on my MP3 player ''Airport 1975'' by John Cacavas, an old time favorite.
This evening ended with Mark Isham's ''Black Dahlia'' score on the big screen.
Can't wait to receive, hopefully this coming week, and listen to this one along with ''The Wicker Man'' by Angelo Badalamenti and some other goodies.

¿Marco Beltrami? Sorry, Seri, I think you wanted to say Angelo Badalamenti...
Today I've been listening to Antón García Abril's TEXAS, ADDIO and ...4..3..2..1... MORTE. Strange and fascinating listening indeed.
Before going to bed, nothing better than Trevor Jones' CLEOPATRA. The cover art makes me dream...

Hello,
So far today I have listening to "A Bridge Too Far" by John Addison, "Les Egares" by Philippe Sarde, "Chocolat" by Rachel Portman and "The Master of the Ballantrae" by Bruce Broughton.
A good mix of music I have not heard in awhile.
Best Regards,
David Phoenix

Listening to CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND at the moment. I was reading through a "Top 100 movies" list and came across this movie. And I thought, "Haven't listened to this score for a while", so - voila - here we are!

Earlier today I have been listening to JURASSIC PARK III (Don Davis), RICHIE RICH (Alan Silvestri) and KING KONG LIVES (John Scott). Right now I am playing AMAZING STORIES, Vol. 2 (Disc 1).

''Richie Rich''... a great make you feel good score! I really enjoy listening to this one.

Most of the day: THRILLER JAZZ, a compilation of jazzy (re)recordings of 1960s and 1970s detective and spy movie/TV themes.
Right now I'm giving the 1CD version of FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING another spin and find it much more enjoyable than the complete version (given the 1CD version leaves out the actors' humming and drinking songs).

"The Perfume : Story of a murderer" has not left my CD player since I bought it last
week and it was a long time I didn't listen to such an haunting score .

Hi,
Just finished playing a compilation CD of Ennio Morricone's western themes - made yesterday to send to my son at University (with a few others) so he has some music at hand. He spent a lot of the summer months compiling his MP3 player with his favourites from my soundtrack collection only to have the player "lifted" within the first two weeks! Perhaps the good music thereon will help re-establish the guilty party in with human society!!!
Whilst it was playing my new CDs arrived:
Giu' La Testa (2CD), Allonsanfan & Amici Miei
so it will be a challenge: John Barry's Ipcress File (checking it for my son) or one of the new ones.
Oh, the challenges in life ...

At this time i am hearing "Miklos Rozsa at MGM". Yesterday i heard "Legend" and "Boys from Brazil" (Goldsmith) and finished the day with "Obsession" by Herrmann. Quite nice ending of a weekend.
Greetings
Peter

All I can say is... beautiful!
I recently listened to a non-film recording (Marabouts; Invisible Landmarks) from a composer who has composed film music as well.
