Varese's Club Titles announced on 11/6!
Start the speculation. I hope there's more Conti titles.

Probably the Rocky collection again, but I hope in an official release of karate kid scores....

Oh please, oh please, let it be The Burbs...

It will definitely not be The Burbs since that has already been released as a limited Varese club title even though it will be fantastic if they re-released all those first limited club titles they had done back in the 80's before the club signed off for nearly a decade with remastered sound and some extra tracks. Wishful thinking!...
Perhaps a remastered and expanded score of The Burbs in this millenium is a job for Intrada!
It does sound like some Rocky score from the way Varese's announcement is phrased though but is it?
Frankly I'm really in the mood for some unusual hard gory B stuff this time around.
I don't know... does Exorcist III for Xmas sound good?
We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

I am hoping for some horror-related soundtracks myself, since Nov. 6th is not too far from Halloween let's hope Varese goes with a horror-themed club release.
I know it will probably never happen, but I'd like to see the original score for "Friday the 13th" released. The analog synth piece used at the end of the film deserves to be heard on an official release.
"Jaws 3-D" would be another unlikely candidate. Alan Parker's dreamy score to this 80's turkey should someday get a second chance on CD. I hope it's the original soundtrack as the music on the old LP seemed different from the film's soundtrack. They must have re-recorded it or something?
Well, here's to hoping...

I tend to think that La-La Land & Perseverance would seem to be the right candidates for releasing all these odd scores. I cannot think of another oddball record label. Perhaps Crescendo or Percepto as well. All the other familiar soundtrack record labels to some extent are more reserved to such releases. I certainly hope so for Jaws 3-D and Friday The 13th and for so many other titles I rather not get into again.

I can't see despite the wording how it could be another Conti set of Rocky releases...seeming that they were re-released remastered in 2004/2005. Unless they are releasing the scores to Rocky IV and V which have never had a decent soundtrack release with score material.

The only decent one would be an official release of Gremlins. It's high time this was released. We don't need The Burbs again, if anyone wants that they can get it on ebay. Also, Deadly Freind By Charles Bernstein would be good. Well I think it would anyway.

Serifiot - it's nice to read that somebody else is after DeVorzon's "Exorcist III" as well... Mmmmh, they might couple it with "Looker", also by Barry.
Now THAT would be something - ah, they could throw in the score only tracks from "The Warriors" as well, to nicely round it out ;-)))
Best,
Burnie
