Question

Does anyone know how to find out what music is used in a movie trailer? Are they often just recycled soundtracks or are they originals? I am in particular looking for information on "Eragon"- the trailer that I saw (and really noticed the score to) is on Apple. It was a very striking score, somewhat reminiscent of the score to Bram Stoker's Dracula several years ago.

I usually go to soundtrack.net when I am wondering about trailer music as they are a pretty good resource.

According to their site, they are showing the trailer music is from Passion of the Christ. I have not seen the trailer specifically so I cannot comment myself. Here is a link to the information:

Thank you so much! I will check that out and find a copy of Passion of the Christ as well- that seems to make sense from the snippet I heard yesterday. Beautiful music!
