Perseverance future releases...
The 500 copies of this recent super duper limited Paul Hertzog film score release "Kickboxer" by Perseverance Records is now sold out and gone forever!
The small record label Perseverance with its BIG mission has just released the world premiere cd "Murph The Surf" by Phillip Lambro and soon will be releasing in super duper limited editions:
- "Leatherface - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3" by Jim Manzie
- "Deadly Friend" by Charles Bernstein
- "Sybil" by Charles Bernstein
Next up in their agenda as Perseverance's regular release will be "Bloodsport" by Paul Hertzog limited to 1,000 copies!
Cheers! ;- )
Enjoy the music!!

Bloodsport!
One of my first soundtrack cd! ^___^
The new edition will be different from the first cd release?

It most likely will be!

Yes...there was roughly 8-10 minutes missing from the original release by edel, it became available on the cd the best of van damme vol 2. I re-edited my existing soundtracks to add in this 8 minute assortment of music. I doubt however that Perseverance Records will include the two songs made available on the Edel release.
Where did you hear about Bloodsport? Last i heard was a licensing request into Sony for it...

Through e-mail correspondence with Rob Esterhammer from Perseverance Records. I promised I would spread the word around.

A SMALL LABEL WITH A BIG MISSION - definitely it is!
I thought it would make sense if there will be a release of BLOODSPORT on the occasion of KICKBOXER and the session with Paul Hertzog. And now it's true?
WOW.
My collegue asked if it will include the original songs performed by Stan Bush and Michael Bishop.
My fellow serifiot, do you know it?

I honestly don't know... we just have to wait patiently until it is finally released.
My big curiosity at the moment is what scores will Varese release this upcoming week.
I think I have a good hunch for one of the releases at least.
Patience, patience!

Definitely!
Maybe one of the 1000 limited editions is :
Bill Conti - F/X
Roy Budd - The Final Option
I would appriciate it!
But as far as I can see from the FSM board your statement about the limitation of BLOODSPORT was not confirmed by Robin?
cheffe, November 4, 2006; 12:34 AM

In his e-mail correspondence, he did in fact write limited to 1.000 copies.
Perhaps it is too early for him to confirm 100% but since he is contemplating the idea for an extra 500 Kickboxer cd's he might also finalize to have more "Bloodsport" pressed.
serifiot, November 4, 2006; 6:34 PM

I called Rob on Monday re: the Kickboxer repress issue. While talking I asked about Bloodsport. Will be out in Feb. or March.
By the way, I'm all for repressing. I have a copy, but I would hope all the other collectors of MUSIC would be able to get it also. I thought it was not a good move to only have 500 avail. in the first place. Just my own opionion
