Original Sin by Terence Blanchard... Ye or Ne???

I really enjoyed the movie "Original Sin", so I was wondering if anyone who owns the score would mind commenting on it. I was thinking about purchasing it. I really liked the music played in the scene where Antonio Banderas catches up with Angelina Jolie in the hotel room and puts a gun to her head. The music had a thrilling quality to it. But as for the rest of the score, I'm wondering if it holds up as a soundtrack worth owning. Also, the score is very rare now, so if anyone is interested in selling, I'm interested in buying. Please, any input is appreciated.

I have found it for around 65 USD used. And I agree with you on Blanchard. I really like his work on Inside Man. Do you think $65 is unreasonable for good used copy. Brand new is $100.

For me, the score is far superior to the movie. I love the music, but I hate the film.

If you enjoyed watching ORIGINAL SIN, try with the french version: LA SIRÈNE DU MISSISSIPPI (Mississippi mermaid), directed by François Truffaut in 1969. Wow!, that was a great film!

Wow, I can't believe the prices! I found this CD in a used bin last year for under $4.00 and it was sealed! I had never seen it before and looked it up when I got home. I was surprised when I found it, since I did not realize it had been released.
