An Ishtar soundtrack was not released, though a 45 rpm promo disc did make it out to radio. Both sides of this disc and MP3 clip of songs and quotes are available from www.ishtarthemovie.com.

There is a lot of movement in the Ishtar community... Ishtar is a great movie, and more and more people are catching on to
that fact… please consider joining the Yahoo group (ILoveIshtar-subscribe@yahoogroups.com), where we are working on getting a soundtrack release... the webmaster of Ishtar the Movie website (http://www.ishtarthemovie.com/) is working on a tribute album of cover versions...

With the documentary film (http://www.waitingforishtar.com/) on the way, and perhaps a DVD release in the US (lucky Europeans have had one for years) … this is going to be a great year for Ishtar!
