THE SHINING on cd...Wendy Carlos
Ok, anyone else want a copy of 'The Shining' on cd. Well, I know I do. I just got me a copy of it off amazon. The score is set up on two discs sold seperately that are titled 'Rediscovering Lost Scores, Vol. 1 & Vol. 2'. The cds were aparently put together by Wendy Carlos, but don't quote me on that, lol. Check out the two reviews it has from previous buyers; might prove helpful. I am really excited to get both cds, I even paid for next day delivery. Here's the link...

These are official Wendy Carlos releases and I won both as soon as they were released. you can learn more at www.wendycarlos.com under discography. The music is interesting and at times scary at times somber. It is worth the purchase since who knows how long these cds will be in print and then gone. the CDs also offer unused music from Clockwork Orange and Tron, Woundings, and some other films/ tests. Well worth it.

It wasn't really posted to be 'Late Breaking News'. I asked about the score a week or so back and was told it was not released. If this was released like a year ago, I'm surprised no one mentioned it to me when I asked. So I posted this for anyone who wanted the music like me and didn't know of this 2 cd set.
