Heist Soundtrack by Theodore Shapiro

I'm desperately looking for Theodore Shapiros Soundtrack for the David Mamet Film "Heist". As far as I know there was once a promo but never a proper release. But is there somebody out there who has an idea, where I could get that great soundtrack? There was once a download link on one of these soundtrack-blogs which is now dead (the link, not the blog).
I would be so, so thankful if someone could help me with my search. My email: jobi (at) access.unizh.ch ,
cheers, jo from switzerland

Greetings Jobi,

Like you, I too searched the Internet for Theodore Shapiro's superb
soundtrack to David Mamet's Heist. And like you, my search led me to
the blog Soundtrack Sharity, to find a dead link which has not been
reactivated (http://soundtracksharity.blogspot.pt/2006/07/heist-
theodore-shapiro.html). Apparently, all hope was gone. However,
someone in this forum (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/heist-2001-
promo-score-theodore-shapiro-320k-129683/) has recently uploaded
the score (in 320 kbps MP3), in a rar archive appropriately called
SheepCountHim. After registering, I successfully downloaded it (you
should do the same, but if you can't download it yourself, feel free to ask
me and I will send it to you through e-mail or WeTransfer).

As for its legality, being an unreleased promo score, I think it's legal to
download and own this. However, it is not an official release sanctioned
by the author, so do so at your own discretion. Maybe one day it will be
reissued on La-La Land Records or Intrada. Who knows?

Anyway, I commend your good taste in music, wish you a pleasant listen
and hope it was worth the seven years of waiting (if you haven't got it in
the meantime).

Warm regards,

Diogo Pereira
