New Year Soundtrack Resolutions.
Hello Everyone,
Time for everyone to make a some sort of promise, goal, or hope for the New Year. Since soundtracks are our game I figure that some of us may have some resoultions. I broke my soundtrack resolutions into two categories: (1) What soundtracks would I like to see released this year. (2) What rare soundtrack(s) do I plan on adding to my collection this year.
In the year 2007 I hope these two soundtracks find a release: "Friday the 13th" and "Flight of Dragons." I realize these are probably dubious releases at this point--still, the year is young and if they are not released this year then hope still remains for all upcoming New Years.
Regarding the second part of my soundtrack resolution, I plan on tracking down a copy of "Sins." I've tried getting this soundtrack for quite sometime and this year I am definitiely scouring Cyberspace for it.

I hope Varese Club issue Dominic Frontiere's "The Aviator" from 1985 - it was released by them (Varese Sarabande) on LP and is ripe for a 1000 copy club run. Great score with lovely main theme.

As far as the Varese LP/CD club is concerned, I would like to see Maurice Jarre's ENOLA GAY or, alternatively, his APOLOGY.
Otherwise let's bring some JOHN ADDISON to CD in this year.
I also hope that Armando Trovailoi will write at least one new score this year.
The CD which I would like to get most is Guidio & Maurizio de Angelis' KEOMA + IL CACCIATORE DI SQUALI. It seems impossible to find !

Mine is to thin out my collection...and track down a decent sale price for my Varese Sarabande 25th Anniversary Volume 2.
Hopefully from a buyer who actually responds this time!
