It doesn't exist.

The Artemis LP transfer cd is the only one released. Pity that...

By that regard, you suggest that Mary Queen of Scots, The Dove, Mountbatten, Last Place On Earth are legit? I had heard these all are not. By what source have you heard these to be legal?

In either case, the production on these is shoddy. Poor art direction and lousy LP transfer recordings. All the music represented is astounding, of course. It would be grand if someone could release any of these titles in the light they deserve.

Many of the Artemis releases are definitely NOT legal, their producer himself has confirmed that to me (well, not exactly using these words).

They were created under conditions that didn't support the sound quality to a large extent.

With one exception -- Film Themes & Suites by Ernest Gold -- none of the CDs which I have contains any copyright information, some of them have bar codes with numbers that are obviously faked. The mentioned Ernest Gold compilation is also the only one which I ever noticed being available from official stores like Silva Screen or Screen Archives.

Furthermore I can quote a Barry expert Geoff Leonard:
"There is NO "Mary Queen Of Scots" CD. And the combination with Anne Of The Thousand Days is also a boot."

And finally, as I said, the Artemis producer himself has admitted to me some time ago that he produced the CDs without authorization (for various reasons).

While I cannot swear that all of them are unauthorized, a majority of them certainly is.

Maybe the same situation as with Tsunami - legal, but not legitimate?

wheter "legit" or not if a release is ONLY available like that and I really care to have it I will always buy it, i am not encouraging the bootleg industry but if the so called "legit"labels do not release these cd's and then an alledgedly illegal printing is made then I'll still buy it (given a "legt" version of it does not exist) and ARTEMIS surely rleased a treasure of film scores. Cross Of Iron is a real masterpiece by late Mestro ERNEST GOLD, definitely worth having. I would surely not mind a longer version of it though.
