I won't stand in line for anything Varese Sarabande throws together simply because it's limited edition.
Cheap exploitation of the work of Jerry Goldsmith.

one website wants us to order 750.00 worth of merchandise to get the jerry goldsmith cd; they mention varese as painstakingly putting the cd set together and all the hard-work that went into it. If the cd was that hard to produce, why is v.s. only producing limited copies of it. This recording is three pieces of aluminium and plastic, a plastic cover, and a paper booklet . . . each of these can be reproduced at two dollars, maybe two-fifty and we want to blow our cash for it and sweat blood and tears if it sells out? Plastic and aluminium is cheap and the "digital-ness" of the recording makes it easy to identically copy . . . don't pay high prices for wooden nickels (cds and dvds being the ooden nickels).
