Alexandre Desplat takes the Golden Globe
Alexandre Desplat got the Original Score Golden Globe for "The Painted Veil" last night. Definately one of my recent favorites. Was it the win you would've picked?

I agree.
In my opinion, Alexandre Desplat is one of the few really good composers from the new generations.

Funny I just bought this CD a few days ago at Barnes & Noble. I do think he is one of the
brightest film composers around today.
