Question

Does anybody know of.....

any good soundtrack shops in Paris? I shall be over there next weekend and am always looking to add to my Spaghetti Western cd collection. Particularly works by Bruno Nicolai who's score for Indio Black (which every SW fan must get a copy of, its a fantastic score) is presently being worn out from continuois play.
Many Thanks
Gary

Here are some shops :

* Magasin Cinémusique : 50, rue de l'arbre sec, 75001 PARIS (Tel : 01.42.60.30.30). It's a soundtrack-only shop which reportedly has many rare soundtracks. But you'll have to bring some money :-)

On the Champs-Elysees :
* Virgin Megastore : a classic but huge cultural store. Many soundtracks, but don't expect to find rarities.
* FNAC : smaller classic store, but has a very well-designed soundtrack corner with a part ordered by composer. Also has many imports and occasionaly some rarities.

There are other stores from these two chains all over Paris, not as good, but still worth checking if you have time.

* Gibert Disques (boulevard Saint-Michel) has also a fine soundtrack corner with both new and used CD at reasonable prices.
