How did you come to know about SOUNDTRACKCOLLECTOR?
Thought it would be cool to find out how each of us came to know this site existed. Was it recommended by another site, found through a random search, or a friend?
In my case, and friend told me about this site. And I'm really glad they did. How bout you?

I am not sure, but I believe I was looking for soundtrack covers. But it might as well have been the result of a google search for information on a specific soundtrack.

I googled 'police academy 2 soundtrack' into google and was led to this site which informed me there was no such soundtrack. (I was looking for a song called 'dirty work' which features on the soundtrack - never managed to find it)
Glad i was led here about 2 years ago it's a great site.

I was looking for a song to a film, i did a search and landed here. I then got ripped to pieces by the locals for asking about a song which had no relevence to soundtracks at all! Ive never been the same since, though my doctor says the twitching is getting better!! ......................................
On a more lighter note, i think i was just searching for soundtracks at the time and here i am, still here after 6 years or so!

I believe that one reason - apart from its great functionality - that made me like this site immediately was its colour scheme and design. It might not be most "up-to-date", "coolest" and "hippest" design, but I found the light colours inviting, friendly and peaceful immediately. And I still do.
The site is designed in a very calm, pleasant way, easy to use and easy on the eyes. Simply just right. :-)
I hope it won't get a complete revamp anytime soon.

P.S.: I guess doing without Java is also very helpful to make the site as accessible as possible.

When I finally decided to get a PC, I was actually searching through cyberspace for a way to organize my then limited film music collection. I stumbled on a number of software which at that time being a computer ignoramus I found quite complicated but Soundtrack Collector came up accidentally and I was immediately drawn to its set up and ease and to the fact that it provided a wealth of information free of charge of course.
I really took notice and an interest in SC's forum much later, once my film music horizons began to expand and questions began to surface.
I must say that I have learned quite a lot just by reading the various threads from you guys and I truly thank you for that with all sincerity.
A big thanks to the creators of this website as well!...

I was searching for tracklists and I was looking if certain movies had a soundtrack release...and there i was! And i immediatly saw that this site was great, the design is indeed very friendly, the information is fantastically large and the people are nice - and you're able to submit info yourself (although it takes a lotta time, but you can do it).
I guess now I look at this site every day.

I was talking to a guy named Vinny one day...
I'm not sure how I found this site. As a matter of fact I'm not even sure if it all isn't some strange dream and I'll wake up back in 1988.
Whatever the case may be it's been a hell of a roll.
