I'd have to say when I found the Italian vinyl pressing of "Last Tango In Paris" (Ultimo Tango A Parigi) with a little bit of titty on the cover.

For me it started in the early days of the career of Philippe Sarde. I bought every vinyl thing
available, no matter how crazy the music or how short the playing time (his so called LP's were
actually not more than extended EP's). Later I came to reason and sold a lot of silly discs. But
by then it was too late and I had this growing collection on my hands. The interesting thing is
that over the years you get attached to certain scores and they become part of the history of
your life with recollections everytime you hear them.

I believe that one of my *wow* moments - though not the first - was when "Die Hard" became OOP. Being one of the 3000 guys in the world that had it, while so many others wanted it, made me realised that I was heading somewhere.

Mine also relates to the Varese club -- it came at the moment when I realized that I'm buying titles like ROOKIE OF THE YEAR without even knowing them simply because they're in the club. Me, such a selective buyer before !
