I've never seen a release. I have the theme from that period on an old Warren Barker LP.

I know that some of the Bernard Herrmann cues from 1950's Gunsmoke has been released on LP and CD.

As far as I know, only these episodes' original scores have been released:

1961 6th Season Episode 19 "The Tall Trapper" (Bernard Herrmann)
1961 6th Season Episode 24 "Harriet" (Bernard Herrmann)
1961 6th Season Episode 29 "Stolen Horses" (Jerome Moross)
1966 11th Season Episode 18/19 "The Raid" (Franz Waxman)

The unreleased material from other seasons and episodes could fill several CDS of great music... what tapes are available and what we might eventually see one day is a different question.
