The existing album is outstanding but it indeed features very little music from the film. Why ? That's a good question and I'd like to know the answer too. The CD just replicates the LP and who knows why they didn't release more music from the Oscar winning score back then.

Hey David,

Although I do not know the answer to the question you've posed, it relates to my thought that the next Intrada release for February could be the complete "Summer of 42" paired with David Shire's score to the sequel, "Class of 44". Perhaps you had the same thought.

Michel Legrand has several Oscar wins to his credit, and this would fit with the clues given.
