Question

Sodom and Gomorrah

only 1.000 copies are made and now for sale. It strange that this cd is not sold out within 24 hours like VARESE CLUB titles. www.Digitmovies.com has one week now a few copies left. If you like Miklos Rozsa's music, you better hurry.

I have ordered mine immediately after it was announced and I'm too surprised that it's still available. Maybe because it costs about twice as much as the 1000-unit Varese clubs (but also it's twice as good music I bet).

Has anyone already received the 2CD?

Hello,

I also ordered mine right away, I thought for sure this one would sell out in a weeks time. I hope this luke warm reaction from this release does'nt discourage labels from putting out such classic scores. There are lot of other scores from this era I would love to see released in a complete format. Keep up the good work Digitmovies.

Best Regards,
David Phoenix, AZ.

Quite often a 'Golden Age' score from the forefathers who began it all is being played in this household with much appreciation.

I sometimes wonder what age group of film music devotees appreciates and purchases such Golden Age soundtrack releases like ''Sodom And Gomorrah'' by such prominent film composers like forefather Miklos Rozsa?...

The film music of such great music composers should not be shunned, especially by today's generation of film music enthusiasts.

Great pieces of film music have been written from this long gone era which literally puts most of the film music written today to shame.

Sadly to say, a lot of the limited FSM Golden Age releases are still available after all this time.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for my copy as well.

My copy arrived within a week after ordering it (I used Paypal and I live in Europe). What great
sound!!! I expected the deteriorated sound of tapes of yesteryear but it's crystal clear and
genuine stereo. I'm not very familiar with Rozsa's scores, but Ben Hur and Quo Vadis have been
favorites of mine for many years. I didn't even know Sodom and Gomorrah so I decided to give
it a try and it's great. There are still a few copies left... Highly recommended!

Just received my copy last night from SAE, along with Demetrius and the Gladiators, Rio Conchos, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, The Comancheros, Undefeated/Hombre, and The World of Henry Orient. Will be giving it a thorough listen later this week. I did sample a couple of tracks and can't wait to give it a full listen. I also received a box from Intrada yesterday with Max Dugan Returns, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and 2nd vol of Rozsa for piano.

Right now I have Kiss Kiss Bang Bang playing in the car.
