Remembering GOLDSMITH
Today, February 10th, is Jerry Goldsmith's birthday. He would have cellebrated his 78th birthday. We don't forget him. We will always love his music.
Happy birthday, Maestro!

I celebrated with his excellent QB VII score yesterday.
Some people were right when they, at the time of his passing, said that his music would live forever.
Even last year (when he would be 77) he was on the IMDB main page as "Born Today". This year there was some cute young girl instead of Jerry.

I don't need his birthday to be reminded of him... every day is Goldsmith day!
''The River Wild'' just finished playing on television... wonderful film score.

Hey coma,(a Goldsmith title I hope you realise)this forum is a tribute for the man who continued composing film scores even through a terrible illness: not someone who lets down his fans and sits at home.
Jerry Goldsmith is the greatest film and music composer who ever walked the earth ! he's my favourite anyway.
Barry is the best living composer.

In my opinion, The River Wild must be his weakest score... but I agree with you: "Everyday should be a Goldsmith day"
