Evans follows Livingston into Bonanza Heaven
With the age of 92, Ray Evans died. Famous for "Que Sera, Sera", he also co-wrote the Bonanza theme, together with his long-time buddy Jay Livingston. RIP, Ray Evans.

He and Livingstone were also the team that gave us, Buttons Bows which first appeared in Bob Hope's The Paleface and was reprised in Son of Paleface, Silver Bells which Hope introduced in The Lemon Drop Kid, Mona Lisa which was a big hit for Nat King Cole, and of course everyone's favorite song about a talking horse, now listen to this ............
The Livingstone/Evans theme to Bonanza should have stayed the theme for all 14 years Bonanza was on tv but late in the series it was dumped for a theme by long time series composer David Rose
A classic duo who contributed many classics to what is often referred to as the Great American songbook.
