Question for Goblin fans
Hello Everybody,
Does the band Goblin perform the title track to Bruno Mattei's "Hell of the Living Dead?" The tune I am referring to appears in the opening fade in at the Hope Center; the track opens with some bouncy Moog work as the text stating "Beatrice Films Presents" appears on screen, then as the opening credits continue the song uses a Mellotron or an orchestra in the chorus.
I know Mattei stole the score from "Dawn of the Dead" and "Contamination," but this particular track is not on any of the recent Cinevox releases. Also, I heard that the "Hell of the Living Dead" track featured on Fantafestival, Vol. III" disc is still not the opening track from the film.
Does anyone have any information? Thanks a lot!
Keep soundtracking,
Jeremy

Hi Fantallusion!
I know exactly what you're talking about :-) Being a Goblin fan since '82 i have been hunting that track for a while now, believe me... ever since i saw the movie for the first time around the same time.
I think i can safely say that it is NOT Goblin who are performing this track. There is one other track, when the "bloody priest" and the zombie child are attacking that also sounds very Goblin-ish that I'm also pretty sure is not Goblin. I think both of these are performed by Gianni dell'Orso - and one of these two must be the "Virus" track on the Fantafestival Vol. III CD.
I am, by the way, desperately looking for this latter CD. It's crazy, I really want that track and I have stumble across all other volumes regularly (1, 2 and 4) but Vol. 3 just NEVER shows up anywhere. Hrngrrr.
Best,
Burnie
