The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada Freddy Fender
Hi
Is there two versions of this soundtrack CD with Freddy Fender singing Track 19 Before the next teardrop falls being replaced by Vivian Keith on some CDs ? It says Freddy Fender on this site but a customer says he's got Vivian Keith.
Thanks.

I have the French CD featuring Freddy Fender !!
However there could have been a revision inbetween or he bought the US-pressing which may have different contents.

Thanks very much. Is your CD entitled "Trois Enterrements..." ?

I've got the USA release, and it features Freddy Fender on track 19.

Mine was from the USA - it said Freddy Fender on the slip cover but when he got inside he said it wasnt Freddy Fender.
I'll get it back tomorrow to see what he means.

I got the CD back. The song is written by Vivian Keith. I listened to other clips of Freddy Fender singing this song and its definitely his voice.
The soundtrack CD does sound more high pitched but clearer. So perhaps there has been some digital remastering or something. The song is from 1974.
