I've been in a really good "Lee Holdridge"-mood this morning (thanks to the GREAT news from Intrada:-), and have been listening to "The Beastmaster" (CAM) and "Splash" (SUPER TRACKS).

'The Sailor who fell from Grace with the Sea' (Johnny Mandell), for the 1000th time, I never
get tired of it.

I don't know if this is exactly a soundtrack, but I'm listening to a CD of songs from the 1963 Chinese Opera, The East is Red ("Dong Fang Hong" - no relation to the 90's HK period martial arts film with the same US title). This communist themed opera/musical tells the story of the Chinese Revolution. It was later made into a movie in 1965, so I guess it can be considered a soundtrack--or maybe an "original cast" album?!

"Walzer, Marsch und Teufelsklänge. Music zu Thomas-Mann-Filmen"
(Waltz, March and devilish sounds. Music for Thomas Mann movies) from the incredibly low priced "Music in Germany 1950-2000" CD series edited by the Deutscher Musikrat.
Not listening to many CDs these days - my CD player seems to die down :-(
(it has started skipping and cleaning the lens doesn't seem to provide sustainable help).
