I know it's not possible, but a re-release of EYE OF THE NEEDLE (with or without THE LAST EMBRACE) would be great!

And why not a 3-CD set with expanded scores from EYE OF THE NEEDLE, THE LAST EMBRACE and FEDORA?

Dreaming is free, isn't it? :-)

Of course it is Angel. That is why we post our usual responses to these speculative questions. For the 108th time... Cacavas' Airport 1977 & Schifrin's '79 would be nice.

I find it odd that Varese own website post is not filled with the usual clues and tease, Not much fanfare about the upcoming releases at all. Does this mean they are not that thrilled with this batch of club releases? I hope i'm wrong of course.


Another Miklos Rozsa release would be great. What a year it has been so far for Miklos Rozsa fans like myself. "Sodom and Gamorrah" (2 cd) and the upcoming releases of "The Private Life a Sherlock Holmes", and "Spellbound". Keep them coming!


Other composers I would love to see in this club release would be John Addison, Richard Rodney Bennett, Georges Delerue, and of course as always Goldsmith and Bernstein, But I'm not going to be that optimistic. The last few club releases to me have been mostly a disappointment.
