While I don't have the answer, I should note the Cd is falsly advertised, and does NOT contain the complete score. I watched the movie and noted missing cues.

Unbelievable that a big label like Sony, makes " mistakes" like this!
This score truly is not complete at all. We should sent our complaints to them, because the sticker on the cd says: complete edition.

As I'm sure you know by now, "Kicking Bird's Gift" has been renamed "The Buffalo Robe" on the "complete" release of the score.

As others have noted, the "complete" release is missing some cues from the movie. In fact, some of the most interesting and beautiful music from the film is still nowhere to be had outside the movie itself, e.g. when Kicking Bird attempts to steal Cisco, and John Dunbar's first sight of the Sioux village.

Fortunately, it does include the heroic version of the Fort Hayes music that plays when Dunbar charges the Confederate soldiers. Also, it contains the complete buffalo hunt music heard in the movie, which was probably the music most missed from the original soundtrack release.

Thank you for that.
