Paul Magwood out of Cali

Have any of you had dealings with Paul Magwood Soundtracks from Sagus CA? I bought a rare CD from him and think it might be a burned copy - not original...

If you bought from Paul Magwood, it's DEFINITELY a burned copy and probably a poor one at
that. And chances are you paid five times too much for it, too! He represents the worst of the
worst when it comes to selling soundtracks, legit or boots.

Yeah, I just received a legitamate copy of the CD I'm looking for via one I bought on ebay, and his is obviously a bootleg copy + deskjet printed cover (the outer liner is printed, but inside is blank!). I just disputed the charge (thank goodness for credit cards).
Should this guy get turned into the better business bureau or even interstate commerce of illegal goods? I mean, selling copies like this is illegal isn't it - even though they are out of print? I hate to see outlets of oop music get shut down, but he is charging the rate the legitimate copies go for - for bootlegs! Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong...

Response to SOUNDTRACK PIRATE Paul Magwood out of Sagus

I've been informed by multiple people that Mr Magwood has been selling an illegal replica of our original
"AIRWOLF THEMES" soundtrack, rebranded as 'AIRWOLF: Original Music from the TV Series by Sylvester
Levay', especially at Comic Cons around the country, usually at San Diego, San Francisco and other places.

See TYPE C pirate counterfeit version of 'Airwolf Themes' at:
https://airwolfthemes.com/airwolf-themes-counterfeit-and-piracy.html

Let's just say, if this is true (and I've multiple witnesses - in writing - that say it is) I'll be on the hunt for him
and he better watch his back!

Definitely avoid. He can usually be seen at many comics/movie conventions selling tons of burned and sealed cds. Sound quality is beyond atrocious, and his prices are, well, criminal...

Unless I am mistaken, he is also found to be selling online at various sites, and is listed in "The Nostalgia Entertainment Sourcebook." I told one site about him; they thanked me and continued to list him as a source: http://www.audiemurphy.com/videos/videos_bw.htm

He is listed as:
Soundtrack Video
Owner: Paul Magwood
(805) 29-MOVIE
PO Box 800704
Santa Clarita, CA 91380
(Likely an outdated address)

I wish I had seen this thread sooner. This total douchebag!

I spotted him at NY Comic Con in 2011 and checked out his wares.
He didn't have what I wanted (he claimed he could only bring sci-fi
related soundtracks to this convention), but he claimed he had
everything. I avoided him that year.

But this year, I had a bit of expendable income and he assured
me he could get me copies of both "Five Days From Home" and
"The Secret Policeman's Ball" discs. and he took 90 dollars. He
said he needed to go to Dallas for another convention the
following week, but that he'd send the materials to me after that.

Two months later and I can't get this guy on the phone. Not even
an attempt to speak with me and obviously no products. If he
shows at NY Comic Con in 2013 I'll make it a point to stand by his
booth and tell people what he's really about.

P.S. the current phone I have listed for him on the "receipt" he gave
me: 661 396-6843. Call it, call it, day and night.

Bought $250 worth of "rare" CDs from him that turned out to be crap quality at the 2014
NYCC. He also said he had a soundtrack that I have never seen before and I paid $50 and
he said he'd ship it in 2 weeks. 3 month later I have nothing and can't reach him on the
phone. I'm getting tixx to the next comic con just to get my money back from him.
