Next Buysoundtrax release for tomorrow

Next Thursday (3/22/2007) at NOON (Pacific Time), we'll be releasing an
unreleased score by a long-time Hollywood veteran film composer from a
early 80's SCI-FI Epic, starring one of the Genre's best known actors.....
We have recently discovered music demos written for the film which were thought to be lost
which we will be including in this release, which now runs over an hour.

The first one hundred copies will be not only autographed by the
composer, but the film's star and director as well. Then very shortly after that we'll be
releasing a never-before-released score by one of our favorite composers to work with This
score that will have a very Chinese flavor to it and is not by JERRY GOLDSMITH, JOHN
WILLIAMS, JAMES HORNER or RICHARD BAND.

Let the guessing begin!

Hmm lets exam the clues:
1) The composer is alive and is a long time veteran composer.
2) Stars a well known genre actor.
3) Chinese in flavor.

Big Trouble in Little China. The original release is about 45 minutes. The film is from the 1980s. Kurt Russell starred in The Thing and Stargate as well as BTILC. John Carpenter certainly qualifies as a veteran Hollywood composer.

Just a guess....

Actually it's about 2 different ones .
One Sci-fi flick from the 80's and one with chinese flavour to be released shortly after.
It won't be long now

Thanks to all

SPECIAL NOTE:

will be autographed by Composer David Spear and the film's Star and Director, Bruce Kimmel.

March 18, 2007- Los Angeles, CA) – BuySoundtrax Records will be releasing the soundtrack for THE CREATURE WASN'T NICE. It is a limited edition, with only 1000 copies being pressed. Unfortunately, only 993 of them will be sold, as the creature ate 7 copies. But what can we do about it now? The creature … just … wasn't … nice.

The film's star and director, Bruce Kimmel, felt responsible for unleashing the Creature on the BuySoundtrax offices and agreed to autograph 100 copies -- the first 100 people to order the package from the record label's website, www.buysoundtrax.com, will receive a copy autographed by Bruce Kimmel and composer David Spear at no additional charge … if we can keep them away from the Creature.

When asked to comment on these charges, the Creature sang a rousing rendition of "I Want to Eat Your Face". A special Karaoke sing-a-long version of the song is available on the soundtrack, along with an alternate "Creature" vocal with orchestra. This recording is the first ever release of the complete soundtrack, with score composed by David Spear, songs (music and lyrics) by Bruce Kimmel, demos and music-only karaoke tracks of the songs heard in the film.

THE CREATURE WASN'T NICE is an epic science fiction adventure – so epic it makes the LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY seem like a short story, so science fictiony it makes STAR WARS seem like a Jane Austen novel, so full of adventure it makes Indiana Jones seem like a paper pusher!

The film stars Leslie Nielsen as Captain Jameson of the spaceship Vertigo, whose crew explores a previously unknown planet and brings a mysterious ooze back to Earth. The ooze grows into the Creature, who can only communicate by singing in a Vegas style lounge act. The Creature denies ALL claims that Engelbert Humperdinck is his long lost son. Also appearing in the film are Cindy Williams, Gerrit Graham and Patrick Macnee, and introducing Ron Kurowski as the Creature!

THE CREATURE WASN'T NICE will start shipping on March 29 and can be ordered at www.buysoundtrax.com. The first 100 copies purchased at www.buysoundtrax.com will be autographed by the film's star and director, Bruce Kimmel and composer David Spear
