"in my life" sung in old movie

Many many years ago I watched part of a movie, I think it was a Western, where
a group of children in a one-room schoolhouse were singing John Lennon's "In My
Life." I distinctly remember them starting out singing "There are places I'll
remember..." and so on for a verse or two of the song. I couldn't believe it
because this movie was obviously made prior to the Beatles song on the album.
Unfortunately I never got the name of the movie, and I've tried unsuccessfully off
and on over the years to Google this information, but I can't find any mention of
it. Has anyone else ever seen this?
