Percepto Records back from the dead?
Hi fellow soundtrack collectors!
I just went to the Percepto website and saw that they finally posted an update to their site, and here it is:
"Coming this Friday the 13th of April, Percepto rises from the dead to revisit one of our oldest haunts. Newly expanded and remastered with double the booklet, but at the same low price. Stay tuned!"
I wonder what it could be, perhaps a new version of the Changeling? It does say "one of our oldest" and the release date is Friday the 13th. I don't think its gonna be "Miracle on 34th St"!

The Changeling would be cool to own... I would doubt it'd be Miracle of 34th Street and they may want to release something more horror oriented even though it is the announcement on Friday the 13th Curious though

I think Eric may have nailed it. Considering the clues, The Changeling is a good bet. However, the original release was supposed to be "complete", and this upcoming release is reportedly "expanded", so unless they came up with some alternate cues or source music or something, perhaps it could be another title...I don't have a better guess, though.

I just looked the booklet of my copy of the Changeling, and I don't see how it the booklet can be "double" its pretty thick for a CD booklet already. What are other OOP Percepto releases? Could it be the "Premature Burial" CD or maybe "Invasion of the Saucermen/It Conquered the World"? I can't wait to find out!

Percepto has released some cool soundtracks. ''The Changeling'' is a very good and effective film score and a good movie as well. Any film starring George C. Scott is good.
I will not mind to see an extended Changeling release but what more can Percepto include? I would think the existing 24 track release has the complete score.
As far as ''Phantasm'', I would like to see all the film scoring from all the four Phantasm movies released one day. That would be a real treat!
Perhaps on Halloween?

Like Serifiot, I'm also looking forward for a Phantasm boxset :-) that would totally kick ass!
We will see what Percepto is up to, next friday! Great news indeed!
