question about a seller...!
To all collectors,
I am just curious, I noticed (for quite some time) that this guy: TheSaint.786@blueyonder.co.uk responds to almost every request for (rare) scores in the looking for a soundtrack section. now, I don't want to imply anything he sure will be a high rated seller but what is the story behind these offers..
I just like to know if there are people who have ever done some business with him and please share your experiences.
by the way " the Saint" let us know why your are selling those precious collectables, aren't you a serious collector?
cheers!

Hello,
I have made a trade and purchased from Taz "The Saint" before and have found him to be an honest person, I had no problems in our business dealings what so ever and the scores I received from him were authentic and in good shape.
Best Regards,
David Phoenix, AZ.

He's a very kind and reliable person. No bad surprise with this guy, I will go ahead for new CDs very soon.

I think it is unfair to say that I respond to almost every request for rare scores but it is fair to say that I do respond to some of them because they are scores that I have.
I have also been accused of being a trader and someone who is strictly a dealer something which I will vehemently deny. I, like many of you guys, enjoy listening to soundtracks and have collected, listened to and enjoyed film music for the past 25 years. I have been collecting for 22 years and I have a collection any dealer would be proud of and take my hands off for.
But as may have guessed from that I am going to be 40 years old in June, I have a wife and children and an expensive mortgage. At junctures in your life you have to make decisions and have priorities, mine have changed since 22 years ago and so it is, with reluctance, that I am gradually selling off my collection. I use some of the money to buy new releases which I quite like from composers whose works have been neglected in the past.
I didn't feel I had to justify myself or respond in the manner that I have, but felt it necessary to respond because I am a regular user and visitor to this website. I am glad to have received positive comments from people I have dealt with, namely David and rayanimator (and I thank them for that), and I hope that will continue. I am as straight as an arrow and I have no wish to deceive anyone.
I hope that puts your mind at ease.

The Saint,
I ordered CDs from him, and they are exactly as he described them, and the prices I got them for were very reasonable, although the SOLD OUT CDs are a bit too expensive for me, although I have only recently turned 23, and I got my first job on August 7 2006, but he is very honourable.
What I usually do, to make sure that sellers do have the CDs they have, is to request photos of the items I buy in a group, although circumstances were different with the saint, I asked him to scan the front and the back covers, just to be sure, and I was lucky, and I thank him for the effort he went to, for me to believe him.
Maybe if the chance occurs again, I will buy from him again.
The Saint is honourable, and from my experience, trustworthy to deal with.
Keep it up 'Saint'!!!!!

"The Saint" is exactly as his screen name implies..he has helped me to get some very hard to find stuff that has left me delighted to even have obtained a copy at a reasonable price. His shipping was quick and his packing was terrific. Everything arrived exactly as promised.
In addition, he's a very personable fellow. He's a great resource for soundtrack questions and extremely prompt in answering. I give him a 110% positive rating!

Hi,
I would also let you know that "The Saint" is an excellent seller. I've ordered some great Cds from him some time ago and he is very friendly and reliable. A very nice person too, so don't worry! Thanks!

If I were to offer an opinion I'd suggest you sell the kids and keep your recordings.

On some nights I have been tempted, they can be a pain. Besides, her indoors would never let me!!!
