Jerry Goldsmith headbanger?
I realize this is barely soundtrack related but I'll share it for what it is worth. My friend and I went to a heavy metal concert last night. Saw three bands, Heaven and Hell, Megadeth and Machine Head. Machine Head was the first band and for their intro music they played a recording of "Ave Satani" by Jerry Goldsmith from The Omen.

What a deliciously evil choice! Kinda reminds me of that 'live' Siouxsie and the Banshees concert album that opens up with Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. Powerful stuff.

So what does this prove except that heavy metal worships the devil ("Ave Satani" is Latin for "Hail Satan").

lol! I hope you're joking...

Joking about what? "Ave Satani" really does mean "Hail Satan".

I meant joking about "heavy metal worships 'the devil'"... lol!
...but obviously you weren't joking. Which is even MORE hilarious.

...do you believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, too? :-P

Sounds like a novelty to me. Like the countless bad recordings of Morricone themes by 3rd rate (at best) bands.
I say they can stick it where the sun don't shine.
