As usual I see some damn good music being enjoyed.

Several days ago I listened to Cannibal Holocaust for the first time. What a strange and great Ortolani that is!

I noticed David in Phoenix mentioned Damn The Defiant. Love that damn score! Full of such emotion and energy a person could be left with the desire to go out and kick some ass afterwards.

As well as The Big Country. It breathes good life into the air to fill the atmosphere with such sounds.

I haven't been listening to a hell of a lot lately although recently purchased the original pressing of A River Runs Through It (Mark Isham). Will certainly give that a spin sometime before the world blows up.

Since I just went to see "Grindhouse" I've been groovin around my pad to:
"The Last Race" by Jack Nitzche from "Village Of The Giants" and re-cycled in Tarantino's "Death Proof"
"Boss Bug" by Gordon N Rogers R & B Rythm Crew Pit Band from "Bug-In!", a Dune Buggy Documentary.
"Love Circle" by Stelvio Cipriani from "Femina Ridens"
"Waltzing For Caroline" by Spencer Davis Group from "Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush"
"Hunted" by Barie Forgie (Stringtronics) used in Radley Metzger's "Score" (the actors do Amyl Nitrate to this song then well...)
"Topless Rock" by Dominique Frontiere from "Hammersmith Is Out". (Theme Music From Richard Burton's Go Go Club In Hell also starring Elizabeth Taylor!)
"Fine Jung Thing" by The Electric Flag from Roger Corman's "The Trip"
"Baccanalia" by Billy Strange From "De Sade"
"Chocolate Cream" by Phillippe Besombes from "Libra:Un Film Du Groupe Pattern"
"Black Mass: An Electronic Storm In Hell" by Whitenoise from "Dracula A.D. 1972" (Caroline Munro gets sacrificed to hippie electronic rock!)...just good old fashioned acid trip hard fuzz rock....personal, emotional music!
