Question

I have THE WRAITH cd soundtrack, whats it worth?

Hi,thanks for taking time to read my question,i have recently bought an original silver and factory pressed cd of the film soundtrack to the film called THE WRAITH,i have looked on the google search engine and this appears to be mega rare worldwide and very, very hard to get hold of,i cannot find another one of these cd's for sale worldwide, only one cdr copy but mine is NOT a bootleg or cdr copy,it is an original release, both cd and sleeves are in MINT condition,it is a canyon records japan release which was released by the scotti brothers,i will be soon listing this cd on ebay auctions(i have 457 feedbacks, 100 % positive so im a very good seller),could anybody please tell me what this cd might be worth so i don't sell it for silly money, any help would be greatly appreciated, many thanks,Keith

It all depends how much the interested party is willing to pay.

I have never heard of this soundtrack but looking at SC's database, it contains no score tracks!

It is wise to start off your auction at a low and decent bidding price.

An item is only worth as much as the buyer is willing to pay for it.

Personally I would not buy it at any price but other buyers might pay a fortune to own this rare CD.

Good luck on ebay!

Thanks for your comments,i know its just the songs from the movie but apparently, the main theme song called WHERE'S THE FIRE sung by Tim Feelians is one of the main reasons this soundtrack is so sought after,i did see copies of THE WRAITH soundtrack being sold on ebay,a couple of years ago, this is not allowed of course but they sold for over £20.It amazes me that some soundtracks such as FRIGHT NIGHT sell for such big money ,i think that is a very poor score but it obviously depends on how much you are willing to pay for a cd you desire,i will start off the auction low for my cd to attract interest but i certainly will not sell it for silly money,as i said it is mega rare, again, thanks for your comments,Keith

It seems you have bought a bootleg and it's worth as much as any other CD-R. The surface of the disc is indeed silver, but if you examine the CD with any diagnostic tool (like Nero CD Speed) you'll find out that this is a Prodisc CD-R with a label printed on it. How do I know that? Because I've just bought this crap for a fortune. The original Canyon Records soundtrack includes a booklet with lyrics while the thing I got doesn't have any booklet. The paper on which the inserts are printed is also of low quality. I have many other unofficial releases on CD-R's where the inserts are printed on such a good paper that they look exactly like original CD's. Take a closer look at your CD and if it turns out to be one of these craps then it's not worth more than a CD-R copy as it's not a pressed CD and not an original release!
