Re-Sealling of CD'S
I am not suggesting that any one here does this but I can't help thinking that maybe there's a way of resealing a cd that has been opened. I am continually surprised that when someone is either wanting a particular soundtrack they want it sealed or when one is being offered for sale it, too, is usually sealed.
I know this is a personal choice by any soundtrack fan but what's the point to buying a cd if you aren't going to listen to it unless you purchased two cd's or have an unauthorised copy.
I understand that there are genuine collectors who will buy ANY cd and keep it sealed to sell at a later date but doesn't anyone else find the large number of "sealed" cd's that get around unusual?

Yes there is. The shops tend to re seal CDs a lot. You can tell th difference between a factory sealed CD and a re sealed CD. The difference is, if it's been re sealed it's usually wrapped in that stuff that looks like cling film! If it's factory sealed It will be professionally sealed at the corners. You know when you see it. A lot of the early Varese Sarabande soundtracks were done like this. I remember reading about someone on this board bragging about that they had a sealed copy of Halloween III last year - and I thought - definitley re sealed!! In fact, my copy of Halloween III came directly from Varese in 1992 and wasn't even sealed to begin with!!! The same applies for DVDs too. People sometimes have tried to pass off used ciopies that have been re sealed and try to claim the maximum amount of money for crap. I would ask for your money back if that is the case. I once got a re-sealed copy of Jason X, an amazon tha seller marked it as sealed, but the booklet was used as i could see....well....

Sealed & virginal as opposed to pseudosealed and pseudovirginal is really a personal and compulsive idiosyncrasy (to say the least) that needs a shrink's professional guidance down that awful path of corrupting Hymeneus.
A guiding hand if you will.
I'll stay at the path of sealed and virginal righteousness for the time being.
I really don't know where that hand has been!
I wonder if the bastard charges more to perform conversions?!

Well, i don't care if it's sealed or not, all that counts fro me is that it works and the boolet is ok.
