Best Anime Soundtracks
Hello all -
I may be editing a very cool film that's being shot live action, but is heavily influenced by Anime. I wouldn't consider myself a collector because I use all my soundtracks as a tool to get my head in a space emotionally when I approach a scene that requires music. My itunes soundtrack library is close to 10,000 tracks, but it's lacking titles that would support my next project. Sooo......would anyone care to suggest some titles: I'm looking for ultra-cool score or songs that would lend themselves to a film about a boy's coming of age story that centers around car racing that will be heavily influenced by edgy Japanese Anime -

The original soundtrack was pubblished on cd in Japan years ago!

You might want to give the Matrix scores a try,
especially "Mona Lisa Overdriver" from Reloaded.
That track supports a car chase very effectively.
If you are looking for something with a dreamlike quality,
you could give "Avalon" by Kenji Kawaii a listen
or Kawaii's "Ghost in the Shell"
