GREAT EXPECTATIONS by Patrick Doyle. By far my favourite Doyle score, including the extraterrestrially beautiful "Kissing In The Rain".

LIONHEART by John Scott. I'm glad I finally re-discovered this score after it had led a neglected life on my shelves for a few years... ;-)

In the car cd player at the moment Knights of the Round Table by Rozsa disc 2 (FSM). Prior to that the 2 cd Best of Cinema Choral Classics. (Silva)

In the cd changer at home are 200 discs that haven't been played lately as the cats knocked the plug out of the socket and I need to move the entertainment center to plug it back in.

Then there is the Bose GSX system which has about 114 discs stored on its hard drive. Random play. Too bad FSM and Intrada and Varese limited editions aren't in the built in data base (with 2 exceptions Ghost and Mrs Muir from the Berstein Box and Man From UNCLE Vol 1 disc 1 from FSM)

I would also recommend a CD which was released recently by EL Records and which is not listed here in SC's database. It is titled ROY BUDD, BLUE BUDD and my friends, it is fantastic!

Hey David, is IL CONTE DI MELISSA any great?
I've been listening to ZOO from the same Marco Werba, and really liked it...

davegaumann, May 14, 2007; 7:54 AM

Hello,

Thank you all for your replies, As to the question about "Il Conte Di Melissa" I only have listened to it twice and at this time I would say it's good, I would give it about 3.5 star rating .

Best Regards,
David Phoenix, AZ.

Does it sound a bit like Bruno Nicolai's JUSTINE score?

davegaumann, May 14, 2007; 8:32 AM

Been listening a lot to Morricone for Tornatore's latest, La Sconosciuta. Highly recommended, nothing new from il maestro but its fantastic:)

Hello,

To: davegaumann - Sorry, I don't own "Justine" by Bruno Nicolai, So I have no way of comparing it to the Marco Werba score.

Best Regards,
