Instrumental used in movie Hardball (2001)
In the movie Hardball, starring Keanu Reeves and Diane Lane, there is an instrumental piece used for background music that is not on the movie's soundtrack. The tune is very soft and has a Spanish or Latin feel to it. In the movie, it is heard for just over a minute as Conor/Reeves is picking up his first paycheck at Smyth & Stevens Securities, then as he cashes & distributes that check, and it concludes as the scene ends with Conor/Reeves sitting in his easy chair, back home, eating a slice of pizza.
I've been trying to ID this instrumental piece for almost an entire year and have now exhausted all my usual research methods & haunts. I tried asking for help on IMDB's forums and even emailed Mark Isham, the movie's music composer, regarding that tune. My query on IMDB has, for the most part, gone unanswered and so has, not surprisingly, the one I put to Mr. Isham.
So, I am here, sincere but desperate: Can anyone please identify (song title/artist/album) that musical piece for me?

Maybe you can get a response from Marc Ferarri.
Might you characterize the piece as bluesy at all?
If so, I suspect it may be Volume 4, CD 9, track 14 of Mr. Ferarri's MasterSource catalog, "Just Heard The News".
I don't know what he could do to help you confirm it, though. Maybe provide you with a low-quality auditioning sample?
It may also be track 7 of the same disc, "Gonna Rev It Up". Or neither.
In any case, his contact info is (was?)
Marc Ferarri (President of MasterSource)
voice: 818 706 9000
fax: 818 706 1900
email: info@mastersource.com
address: 28030 Dorothy Drive, Suite 201
Agoura Hills, CA 91301
Would any other members like to put a word in, as to which form of contact would be best?
Good luck, Mae.
