Enchanted April soundtrack

I have been trying since months via amazon and eBay etc but just couldn't find this soundtrack. The full title is : "Enchanted April : The Film Music of Richard Rodney Bennett (Soundtrack)". I wanted to have the one solely for the movie Enchanted April and not a combined version e.g. together with Murder of Oriental Express etc. It is a 1992 production. My friend in Birmingham, UK couldn't find it in most of the music outlets. Can someone tell me how and where can I get it please? Thank you.

The original recording of Enchanted April is available as the 22' suite either on the "Enchanted April: The Film Music of Richard Rodney Bennett" (Bay Cities) or "Partita For Orchestra" (BBC). It's the same recording conducted by Neil Richardson and it's the only ever release of the original music -- you won't find a CD with solely Enchanted April as the score is not long enough for a full CD release.

There also exists a re-recorded 19' suite on a Chandos CD (again coupled with other RRB themes).

The original release that you refer to (The Film Music of RRB) has artwork of Enchanted April,
so that's as genuine and official as you can get. It's rather expensive these days so the best
thing you can do is to try the lottery called eBay. Sometimes you get lucky if you're patient
and persistent and don't throw a lot of money on the first offer you see. Prices vary widely
sometimes, so if you have the time to wait you may get a fair price.

If it's really just the music you're after, than the BBC release is a good alternative, giving you
the classic work as a bonus (and remember the Enchanted April suite is exactly the same).
But the artwork isn't that interesting. This release is not so expensive to get, I bought it on
eBay for less than the price of a new CD. Good luck!

Actually, the BBC CD is available at eBay Shop "money*penny*shop" for only GBP 4.99 (!).
Very reasonable indeed!
