Response to To anyone except coma, What scores are you listening to right now?

Well... ealier I was listening to "The Parole Officer" and then briefly to a bad sounding "Heist".

I really got on line to check in SC's database if the half movie I picked up on TV and was watching titled "Avanti!" was ever released.

The movie as well as the music was good.

I like Jack Lemmon.

I had no idea that the movie was directed by Mr. Wilder until I checked out the poster here on SC.

I could have sworn the film music was by Morricone but to my suprise it is by Rustichelli.

It is a shame that no soundtrack has been released.

I would have ordered it.

Wonderful melodies!

Just washed the dishes...

Hoosehold dishwashers are such a useless invention.

Great for storing plastic bags.

That's all!

INSECTOR X ~ Arrange album

This is video game music that has been "arranged" and performed by musicians on actual instruments. The style is a blend of 80's electronic/synth/dance music with guitars and sax, sprinkled with sounds of traditional Japanese folk music, and the result is absolutely phenomenal. This CD was originally released in 1990, and is highly recommended to anyone who is lucky enough to find a used copy for sale.

I created an off the cuff compilation several days ago featuring the music of Dave Grusin, Manu Dibango, Riz Ortolani and others.

Also listened to a bit of Mancini's Christmas Recording on a 90 degree day for the hell of it.
