Has anybody listened to PERCEPTO's new clip?
That's my question: has anybody listened to PERCEPTO's new sound clip? They are announcing what seems to be something very special:
"ONE composer, TEN complete scores! ONE-ONE-ONE Bonus! Percepto goes MAD, MOD AND MONSTROUS!"
"Coming June 6th, Percepto unleashes its most elaborate package to date with a mammoth boxed set containing eleven scores from some of the maddest, most mod and macabre movies you've ever seen! We've created a literal Frankenstein's monster of madcap melodies by stitching together a crazed cornucopia of genres into one giant cauldron of coolness. And if you're still not convinced, click here for a prime example of red hot Percepto grooves to cure those summer blues!"
Does anybody suspect what is all this about? In any case, I'm afraid it won't be a cheap release...
Best regards,
Angel

I listened but of course didn't identify. Nevertheless I remain very curious. Within the context of Percepto's usual high standard the term "most elaborate package" sounds as something truly special.

Hello,
After listening to the clip, I have no idea. I'll keep an open mind though about this big box set, But with the next Varese club releases coming in july(I Think?) I will want to save my money in case they release some winners.
Best Regards,
David Phoenix, AZ.

I have no idea.
Film scores from 50's B movies? Ronald Stein? Vic Mizzy? Les Baxter?
Whatever the jazz hopping uplifting melody sample track is from... I like it! :- )
I hope the rest of the music is just as good.

"Film scores from 50's B movies? Ronald Stein? Vic Mizzy? Les Baxter?"
Well there surely exist much more less-known composers of the era but what I wanted to point out now is that not only Percepto will not be doing any more Mizzy but also that Mr. Mizzy actually didn't write ANY film score in the 1950's.

The track sounds like any jazzy track composed by Les Baxter or Ronald Stein, maybe is a 50/60´s compilation...
