Pirates 3 has been a let down for me. I don't get all you Zimmer fans. This is one of the most overrated composers i know. This is not fillmusic the way i want to hear it. Cheap melodies and irritating synths. Every score sounds the same. 'The last stand' was crap, MI:3 wasn't any good, 'Superman Returns was much better. Partition' from Brian Tyler was the biggets surprise, a beautifull score. Another surprise was 'the nativity story'. Oh, and i love the score for 'Casino Royale'. David Arnold shows how real filmmusic should be, espessialy in the first track. Overall, the last few years i've heard hardly any good scores come out. I stick to those classics from the eighties and nineties.
